You can expect to be at Eye Care Specialists for 2-3 hours. You will be in the LASIK surgery room for 15-20 minutes but the actual laser surgery will be approximately 1 minute per eye.
You will be provided with oral and topical anesthesia to make you feel comfortable. The actual procedure is not painful. Immediately following the procedure your eyes may feel scratchy or watery. Post-operatively, most patients experience little to no discomfort.
